Grade II listed coaching inn dating back to 1745, although the building is thought to be even older, with links to Burton Abbey.
The interior was substantially furbished in 2013 and again in 2024. The public bar retains some old wooden beams and an assortment of memorabilia. Beyond the bar is the dining area.
The pub offers food and occasional live music (ee Facebook), and Abbots Bromley is world famous for its annual Horn Dance (see www.abbotsbromley.com/horn_dance).
