Early eighteenth century stone-built pub in the most favourable position of the pubs in the village, being on the village green. Inside this community pub you will find a warm welcome and well kept beer, and a real fire to enjoy when its too cold to enjoy the outside evening.
The pub serves three ales from the Wadworth range and what has to be the best value meals around, with mains starting at £4.50, and a Sunday lunch for which booking is recommended.
Regular charity events are held, including quizzes, and there is live music on some Saturday nights.
