This Grade II listed building was completely refurbished in a traditional style by new owners in February 2017 and designated as an Ale and Cider House. The Corner House was further transformed in 2022 with the installation of 13 screens to bring live sports from every angle.
Fourteen hand pumps serve nine regularly changing real ales (Golden, blonde, American pale, IPA, bitter, stout/Porter for the Autumn/Winter. Four real ciders (1 medium, 1 dry, 1 scrumpy, 1 flavoured - usually Seacider or Lilleys and 19 keg lines featuring sours, stouts, lager, pilsner & Pale/IPA. There will always be at least one ale from a local Brewery, often Stardust or Windsor & Eton. A good selection of traditional pub food is also available. Upstairs there is a games room which can also serve as a function room for up to 80 people. Unusually, there is a small, partly covered, roof-terrace, to cater for smokers and those wishing to savour the outside atmosphere. Quiz night is Monday.
