MAY 2024 - Has reopened. No longer a Wetherspoon, now under the ownership of a local hotel group. A couple of real ales on sale. They hope to add more in the near future. NOTE: Information shown may have changed - full update to follow soon.
WAS: An old coaching Inn, The pleasant, rambling, wood-panelled main area is low-ceilinged and furnished with tables and chairs and booths with bench seating. The serving area is tucked away to the left of the entrance and has high tables and chairs. Steps lead up to the excellent beer garden. Food is served all day with breakfasts till 11.30 then main meals from noon. NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are served from 11am.
