This relaxed backstreet pub is decorated with brewery memorabilia, quirky bric-a-brac and photos of regulars. The flags and crests on the ceiling are of Belgian towns and regions. It has a short bar near the entrance with a narrow seating area stretching from front to back. Tables outside.
Of the seven hand-pumps one dispenses the current Brewpoint special. The remainder, including up to three free-of-tie, being used for guest ales, often from small breweries including local ones. There's always a dark and a golden ale. To complement these there is a printed menu of about 40 bottled Belgian beers with additional season specials in winter. As well as a Weston's Rosie cider through a hand-pump they also offer a locally produced real cider. Regular live music especially on Sundays.
There is step-free access to the bar but no wheelchair accessible WC.
This Pub serves 6 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
