Pre covid, the previously closed Railway Inn was totally changed in a major renovation. It is now a modern split use building in the centre of the North Gower village of Penclawdd, with views over the estuary. The major part of the ground floor is GG's Gelato Parlour (Ice Cream) with The Estuary Bar and Rooms on the right-hand side. Both parts are owned by the same company and are interconnected. Inside the bar has a small seating area, but it also shares a larger room, two outside seating terraces to the front and rear and a covered marque at the rear with the parlour. Real Ales are usually from the nearby Gower Brewery.
The meals which come from the Gelato parlour (but can also be ordered in the pub) are generally a range of brunches, light bites/tapas, and burgers (with some roasts on Sundays) and an extensive range of ice cream dishes! Food times shown accordingly from the parlour.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
