Friendly village local on banks of the River Trent. Has been in the same family for 55 years. The pub brews its own beer occasionally, check for availability, as well as offering a range of rotating guest ales. Real cider is also sold. Annual beer festival generally held in September. Large outdoor children's play area and occasional live music. Pub is a popular meeting place for local heritage groups. Cask marque accredited.
