Converted from a shop into a small one room bar in 2010 by Marble Brewery. Refurbished in December 2015 with a new upstairs bar opening on 4th February 2016, a further refresh took place in late 2018 which made the upstairs bar a more welcoming space.
In August 2020 it closed having been sold by Marble to Fierce Beers from Aberdeen. It opened on 4th September as their third outlet, the first outside Scotland. There are 15 lines of mainly Fierce keg beers, some of the Fierce beers may be Keykeg conditioned.
This bar stocks real cider and a bottle pour from a rarely seen ‘artisan’ cider producer is normally available.

The Champion Beer of Britain is one of the most prestigious beer competitions in the world. It is the ultimate honour for UK brewers and has helped put many into the national spotlight.
Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
