Situated at the southern end of the town close to the replica Whittle jet aircraft, this popular 18th-century pub offers a warm welcome. An open-plan L-shaped interior is warmed by two open fires. Excellent Sunday roasts from Street Bistro; Thai food is available in the Sawasdee restaurant in the evenings. Outside is a large landscaped award-winning garden and drinking area. Sunday cheese board. Quizzes are held on the first Monday of the month. Occasional pop up food trailers.
