Dating back to 1361, The George sits in the National Trust village of Lacock, famed for its abbey and Fox-Talbot museum. The pub still has its old oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace with a dog driven spit still in place. The full range of Wadworth beer is rotated along with a guest ale. Locally sourced food served with a friendly service is available. Real cider and perry is always available. A beer festival is held in the summer.
