This attractive, whitewashed 17th-century coaching inn has been a pub since 1668. There is outside seating at the front and an enclosed garden to the rear. It has a split-level bar and a separate restaurant, although food is served throughout. Regular themed food evenings are hosted as well as live music nights. The main bar has a log-burning stove. The drinks menu also features a range of some 100 different gins including the pub's own Gin Trap gin.
