This Grade II listed Inn dates back from the late 17th century and likely emerged because of the proximity of the river crossing. The exterior is white painted brick with a slate roof and is one of the last pubs still owned and leased out from Powis Estates. The pub has been recently renovated and has an open plan layout inside. Situated on the Offa's Dyke path and close to the River Severn. There is ample room for touring caravans and camping with a large beer garden at the rear. There are home cooked meals served lunchtimes with booking recommended at weekends.
