Spacious upmarket village pub, with a number of intimate drinking and dining areas radiating from the central bar. Dating from 1866, it has been refurbished to a high standard and an old fashioned style. Soft lighting, open fires and leather chairs enhance the cosy atmosphere, but watch out for low beams! Dogs are allowed in the bar only. The pleasant hedged beer terrace is ideal for al fresco dining. There is plenty of car parking.
