Closed for the first lockdown 20/03/2020 and didn't reopen until 18/12/2021. Under new management/ownership. Yet to be resurveyed so much of the information here will be out-of-date.
A spacious pub refurbished and reopened in 2015 and operated by 'Thai Inns', who also run the Fox, Tangley. The large single bar serves a horseshoe of linked rooms; at the front is a small area for drinkers. The side and rear rooms are comfortably furnished, and all laid for dining; with a further function room come private dining area. The décor in muted greys and blues and the integrated open feel tend towards the contemporary rather than traditional. The restaurant serves a full Thai menu with no holding back on spices on some dishes. A paved patio at the rear caters for al fresco dining & drinking.
