A welcoming, good-sized former Vaux Brewery hostelry which has undergone a recent interior refurbishment in a prominent position at the head of the pleasant village green. Meals can be enjoyed in the bar or the restaurant lounge with all the meats locally sourced. Two well-kept beers are always on offer. The pub's history can be traced back to the early 19th century when its was an inn owned by the church until 1866.
