This low beamed pub built around 1600 has soft settees in the back room and is a popular dining hostelry. Walking groups frequent the pub and there is live music on the first and second Sundays and also the third Monday in the month. Guest ales are from the Marston stables with the one regularly changing, often alternating between dark and light ales. Nearby is the Primitive Baptist Methodist Chapel built in 1867 and must be one of the smallest in the land.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
