White-fronted pub near the village pond, on the corner of the square. Inside is a main bar, a small drinking area and a restaurant specialising in good-value steaks, pizzas and pub meals.
The ale range changes frequently, usually supporting smaller breweries. Real cider and a Belgian fruit beer are also on the bar. The pub hosts a beer festival each May bank holiday. A large walled courtyard garden to the rear has a wood-fired pizza oven. Gruntfuttocks Speciality Pickles can be purchased to take home.
