Note the new opening hours. Classic and friendly country pub which features hanging hop bines and a cosy snug. Traditional games include darts and bat and trap. There is a Wednesday crib night. Guest beers are usually from Kent breweries, and an annual beer festival is hosted over the spring bank holiday weekend in a marquee in the attractive garden. Excellent home-cooked food, using local produce, is served. The coach house has been newly renovated to give accommodation for 2 to 4 people.
