An air conditioned, family friendly pub on the A5 near to the M69 junction 2. Refurbished 2021/2022.

Greene King IPA, sometimes a 2nd beer from the Greene King list

A wide range of pub food and Sunday lunches are served.

The sports room has table football, pool, video golf and there are four large TVs in the sports bar showing Sky and BT Sports.

Opened October 1932, the second in a projected series of 'wayside hostelries' built by the Knights of the Road Ltd. The original Modernist hotel has now been virtually buried under later accretions with just a few of the original features still visible.
