Small town centre corner bar halfway up a steep hill that is popular with both locals and tourists. The public bar is small and serves mainly as the pool room. The main bar is the lounge, where the handpump can be found. The ale changes frequently and is often from Timothy Taylor or the Greene King stable. A simple food menu is available, often supplemented with specials. Live music is often performed at weekends.
