This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.
Re-opened in March 2018 and revamped as Johnny Dough's, the second outlet for wood-fired pizzas following the success of the Llandudno venue, the Bridge now has the look and feel of an American diner. The new bar is larger than the old one to accommodate the pizza oven at the end and there are two sadly unused hand pumps. Keg beers are from Snowdon Craft Brewery. It has an open plan dining area featuring wooden tables and chairs and is within sight of the historic Conwy Castle and inside the town walls. Food must be ordered in order to obtain a drink.
Historic Interest
The building has been CADW Grade ll listed since October 1981 for "its special architectural interest as a well-preserved C19 public house, retaining definite character, and for its group value within the historical townscape."
