This ancient Cornish shark fishing local is claimed to be Looe's oldest pub, having been in operation for at least 500 years. There are two separate rooms; the pub has low-beamed ceilings and slate/stone floors, making it very cosy in winter and cool in summer. As might be expected from the name and location, there is a nautical theme to the décor throughout. A fourth real ale (often St Austell Proper Job) may appear as a guest but the selection can reduced in winter. Accommodation comprises 5 rooms. The pub is on the Looe Valley Rail Ale Trail.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
