A very welcoming, friendly atmosphere free house on the Somerset Levels between Taunton and Glastonbury. Positioned under Burrow Mump where allegedly King Alfred famously burnt the cakes. Perfect stopping off point for walkers on the River Parrett Trail.
The three cask ales rarely change but always good quality and usually a couple of local real ciders.
Real homemade food with many choices and cooked to order. Specialist burgers with many fillings.
Bus stops outside the pub and car park to rear.
