Grade II listed 16th-century thatched village pub. The single bar has low-beamed ceilings, a flagstone floor and a welcoming wood-burning fire for colder months. Good food from a varied menu can be enjoyed in a series of intimate dining rooms featuring naval memorabilia, books and an intriguing, glass capped well. To the rear is a cosy private function room. Up to five, mainly Devon-sourced real ales are usually available, together with two ciders from nearby Sam's.
