Built around 1834 by Sampson Marshall, the inn has a public bar with dartboard and a lounge bar, mainly used for eating. Wide range of good value pub food available. The Ashley Court function room seats 120 and has skittle alley to the side plus a pool table. Regular live music nights. South facing garden, recently underwent a major refurbishment providing access to the lounge bar without going through the main entrance lobby, safe for young children, with play area. Public car park available opposite.
Accommodation available with eight bedrooms, all but one with en-suite facilities.
Up to four ales generally available, mostly sourced fairly locally.
