After a temporary closure, The Miller reopened in late March 2022 following a refurbishment and with new management under the Old Spot Pub Company Ltd.
This 18th-century coaching inn at the bottom of the high street is close to the Thames. The drinking area at the front of the building is light and airy with bay windows overlooking the memorial gardens and there are two open fires. The two handpumps are located just to the right of the pillar that sits in the middle of the bar. To the rear of the building tables are laid for dining and there is also a courtyard for al fresco drinking and dining. Breakfasts are served in the morning and alcoholic drinks are available from 12 noon onwards. 13 bedrooms are available. Cars may be parked in nearby Manor Road or in The Wheel Orchard car park (pay and display during the day).
