The Naval and Military club is the second oldest club in Southend which was founded in 1920 and still going strong with a warm welcome to all their members, visitors and guests. The club is now open to all visitors. This wood panelled club offers two bars, lunches, a large patio area, a veranda with stunning views over the Thames Estuary. A large selection of military memorabilia adorns the walls. Three real ales are available with each month given over to a different brewery such as Black Box, Leigh-on-Sea, Wantsum and Mad Cat. A large function room is available for meetings or celebrations and can cater for 10 to 100 and all at very competitive rates.
