Situated on the edge of Breaston village this late 18th century inn served the Sandiacre - Derby canal, which is now a footpath and the National Cycle Route 6. Refurbished to a high standard in 2018.
In addition to the two regular beers on offer, four changing beers are usually available, including two from local breweries.
Two rooms are served from a central bar and the pleasant ambience is enhanced by the absence of loud music. Excellent food is served daily; a variety of teas and coffee are also available.
