This self-proclaimed beerhouse which first opened in 1717 is situated just off the A49 Ludlow bypass in the hamlet of Rock Green. Originally a coaching inn on the post road, giving rest and sustenance to weary travellers from far and wide. Refurbished in 2020, and now with new owners, this traditional pub offers a single room with pool, darts and dominoes and an eclectic jukebox featuring 70/80's to present day music. The charismatic landlady Zoe serves Sunday lunches and a variety of filled rolls/snacks other times. The Ludlow Brewery "Stairway" is always "On song!" and the locals are always ready with friendly banter.
