A back-street local near the Oxford canal, rejuvenated by new licensees. This family-run pub offers five beers (six in summer months) and home-cooked food (made by the French landlord). Owned by Morrell's until the brewery closed and the two rooms served by a single bar are still furnished in typical style with an eclectic mix of furniture and bric-a-brac. The pub is featured in the first Inspector Morse TV episode (as the Bookbinder's Arms) but leads to disappointment as the set used for the interior was completely different. Take a short cut along the canal to get here from the city centre or railway station.
This Pub serves 5 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
