A traditional, half-timbered, Grade II listed pub which is a short walk from the railway station. The pub dates back to at least 1785 and has two bars, both featuring sports TVs, plus an upper level side room. There is a pleasant garden and patio and an outside bar in summer. Events held every night such as quizzes, games and music. It hosts beer festivals on bank holidays in May and August.
