The Orange Tree is one of the best real ale pubs in Chelmsford and was voted branch Pub of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2020. A second pub for Max and Jess, who also run the Queen's Head in Boreham. A place for conversation and meeting friends. Two separate large bars, a public and saloon and also a lovely outside rear patio area. Great range of beers are served, always something dark. Lunchtime food is served Wednesday to Friday.
