This Pub is Closed Long Term
Modern build pub attached to a Premier Inn on a business and educational campus on the outskirts of Harrogate, it is quite handy for Hornbeam Park railway station. Décor and furnishings in modern style with armchairs and sofas as well as tables and chairs, it has a number of discreet little corners, musak and a big screen.
Historic Interest
This pub stands in an area of Hornbeam Park that was once the former ICI Fibres site. Crimplene was invented here and named (partly) after Crimple Valley! (The word "crimp" also means to fold and intertwine).
