Good Beer Guide

Perseverance, Wraysbury

Improve This Listing

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales.

A previous runner-up in our branch Pub Of The Year competition and winner of Cider Pub Of The Year, now "FREE of TIE". A comfortable pub with several seating areas. The larger front room has, a piano and a large inglenook fireplace, with a real log fire. There is also sports TV here. Another seating area (again with an open fire) leads through to the rear dining area, which has well-stocked bookshelves. Outside the rear of the pub is a delightful garden. The two guest ales in this Cask Marque pub are always varied and from some of the more interesting breweries local and around the country. Regular beer festivals are held during the year. Quiz night every Thursday at 9pm and Steak night is Wednesday. Buskers night is from 8.30pm 1st & 3rd Tuesday every month and on the 2nd Tuesday it is Piano Buskers. The last Tuesday of the month from 9pm is Ukulele Night. On Sundays there is music in the afternoon 4 to 6pm.

Just recently the landlord has supported new Windsor start up brewery Indie Rabble by stocking their draught lager called frozen Moon. Another keg beer from Indie Rabble is avaiulable.
