Typical busy village pub, with a friendly atmosphere, serving a varied menu of home-made locally sourced produce, including excellent-value fish and chips to eat in or take away on Wednesday evenings. Dogs are welcome in the comfortably furnished bar, with old sofas, chairs and a big log fire in winter. There is also a large beer garden overlooking the glorious Devon countryside. The landlord is a keen rugby fan and games are shown on the television in the bar.
