This classic family run street corner local reopened under new ownership following a period of closure, Extensive refurbishment has taken place, inside and out. The pub was run by Denis Folks and his wife for over 35 years and received many local CAMRA awards durng that time. The two roomed layout has been retained and real ale has been reinstalled in the form of Sharp's Doom Bar and a changing beer, usually also from Sharps. The pub is proving popular with the locals since re-opening. The real ale has been removed, as of April 2024.
