18C, once part of the Earl of Pembroke's estate. Ex Hall & Woodhouse, now privately owned and a Free House. It has been sympathetically refurbished and has an increasing local following. The bar is now a cozy welcoming place to sit and socialize, there's also a smaller bar with darts board and television where customers can relax in a more adult environment. The restaurant (and a few tables in the bar) offer great British pub classics using top quality locally sourced ingredients with a creative twist by their professional chef. The building has lots of original features and an inglenook fireplace with a large wood burner that is lit all through the winter. There is now a lovely leafy courtyard garden to the rear of the pub and a summer beer garden in the field across the road. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
