A Grade II listed imposing Neo-Gothic designed pub built in 1908. It has an open plan design decorated in the Ember Inns style that incorporates original features. It was refurbished in 2023. There is a large garden at the front and plenty of parking spaces to the rear. There is a focus on food, but three or four cask beers are available at all times. Regular quizzes are held Sundays and Thursdays and poker on a Monday night. Ale price reduced on Monday and Thursday.
