A 16th century small stone built village pub overlooking the large village green. It is often referred to as the cricketers pub since with matches played on the green, the pub is used as a base. A family run pub, they serve a variety of locally sourced home cooked food everyday and have at least 3 ales available on draft.
Historic Interest
The last sheep stealer to be hanged in England was captured in this pub. One of the hand pumps actually is a cricket stump.
