Nestling on the green and the only pub in the village, the Red Lion has been a welcome refuge for locals and visitors alike since 1787. There is a large fireplace serving several rooms off a central passageway. Not to be missed, the annual wakes week is at the end of June with events including a well dressing on the village green, and during which the pub holds a beer festival. Fresh food is served all day, every day. The guest beers are often LocAle. Quiz night first Monday of the month.
