16th century free house in Perry Wood. Hidden away in attractive countryside and popular with walkers, although muddy boots must be removed! Bar is adorned with old woodcutting tools and there is a large inglenook fireplace. An extensive garden with a children's play area. Food is produced using locally sourced ingredients served in the bar or the separate restaurant area. Regular beer festivals, quizzes and live music take place.

Session closing times may be earlier than those shown when business is light. Please phone ahead if travelling from afar.
