An attractive thatched inn and hotel within Exmoor National Park. The village is noted for having been the birthplace of Ernest Bevin. The inn also houses the oak stores and post office. The Winn Brook runs past the inn and over the ford that leads up to Exmoor and Tarr Steps. The inn has won a number of awards for its food and details of where food is sourced locally can be found on the website. Summer hours are extended on Sat/Sun.
