A typical Wetherspoon pub built on the site of a former bakery. It gets its name from an earlier pub which stood next door.
Consists of a drinking area in the front half of the pub and a more dining-friendly layout to the rear. To the side and back of the pub is a courtyard with steps up to a terrace with canal view.
Food is served right up to 11pm (breakfasts from 8am to noon), with families welcome until 9pm. No car park, but the pub is on the main 59 bus route and is also approachable from the canal towpath at the rear.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
