Located at the leafy east end of the town centre, this is a friendly, spacious, often lively, open-plan bar with a wide variety of seating and tables. The bar area has pine floorboards and a modernised bar and gantry. To the side and rear is a quieter carpeted area (dogs not allowed) and there is maritime artwork throughout. Popular for food, which is served all day until 8pm, with good children's, vegetarian, vegan and GF choices. Sparklers are happily removed on request. Try the suntrap rear patio garden in the summer. Handy for the attractive Lodge Grounds.
