Once a coaching inn, this popular roadside pub has views across the Blackmore Vale. The public bar features a flagstone floor while the separate light and airy restaurant area has stripped oak floorboards. There is a patio and large garden at the rear. This friendly pub is renowned for superb home - cooked food (no meals Sunday eve) and comfortable accommodation. It always has three ales, Butcombe and two guests, usually sourced from the West Country. Dogs are welcome in the bar.
