A small town-centre pub adjacent to the Newland Street bus station which was re-modelled during the last Covid lockdown. The small games room to the front has been opened-out and a new servery has been incorporated enabling the removal the former servery which created a bottleneck in the centre of the pub. This area now contains tables, chairs and church pews, thus providing more seating. A side room offers further seating. To the rear a small stage has been incorporated for the regular musicians that play here. The interior walls are a mixture of exposed brick, ironstone, and plaster. Ten handpumps dispense around four local beers, plus a further six from further afield.
This Pub serves 10 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
