A friendly micropub in a shopping arcade near the town's Applegarth car park, offering a warm welcome in a small, cosy environment. It serves a selection of local ales plus craft beers and up to twenty Real ciders. The staff are keen to offer advice and guidance to customers. Holds seasonal beer festivals and a pub quiz on the last Sunday of each month. There is no music, gaming machines, wifi, children or sports tv, just good old-fashioned chat. Free soft drinks and coffee are available for designated drivers. Choice always includes a dark beer.
