A Grade II-listed, cosy three-room cottage-style pub, including a separate restaurant and a public bar with dartboard. There is a superb range of beers, all served direct from the cask, from a chilled cellar and an extensive range of ciders. Oversized glasses are used. Children and dogs welcome. Enclosed front garden. Good locally-sourced food is served lunchtimes until 2pm (4pm Sun) and from 6pm-9pm on Tue, Wed, Fri and Sat evenings. There is an annual beer festival in June, with up to sixty beers served over two weeks.
Historic Interest
Much of the pub dates back to 17th/18th centuries - Grade II listed.
