Situated on the main road about a mile south of the town centre, this welcome addition to the pub landscape of Rhyl was the first in a small chain of pubs operated by the former Dovecote brewery.
Recently renamed Y Tafarn Fach, it is now run independently and no longer has any ties to the brewery after which it was originally named. The pub offers a selection of craft keg and cans in addition to cider and perry. Ales are typically from Purple Moose and Conwy breweries.
The interior is bright and airy and features a mural of Rhyl High St along with other pictures of local interest. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with live music some Fridays, typically local artists from 8-10pm. Open on bank holiday Mondays although advised to check in advance.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
