Splendid, 19th century two-bar rural community pub, built by a farrier at the south end of England's longest village green. The food is home-cooked, especially the unique '3-Shu pie', which is freshly baked to order. Both bars have coal fires; dogs (in the public bar) and children are welcome. Regular evening jamming sessions are popular, as are pasty baking competitions, conker contests and veggie Olympics. A double boules court hosts annual championships.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
